Local Enterprise.
As a village perched on the ridge of a hill with a road running on through, it appears to be lacking in local services. It belies what is going on.
Home is Best is a new for 2006 cat sitting service. The format is "For cats who prefer to stay home when their owner is away. Daily feeding and attention in your cat's home. Peace of mind knowing that your cat is happy and cared for." A great idea and takes the stress out of finding a cattery and all the jabs that go with it. From here we would like to add a few other links to other businesses who haven't launched into a web site. Alternative contact methods are offered. Where E-Mail is used it will be posted. If not, E-Mail us and we would be pleased to pass on your enquiry.

Horse and Animal Transport A few years ago I studied for a transport industry qualification. At one of the exams I met a Shropshire entrepreneur. We have kept in touch. Follow this link to her site and spend some time looking around. If you are into horses, cats, dogs, donkeys et al, livery and transport around the country, she is the person to talk to. She carries out extensive bespoke deliveries in Europe with one of the few air conditioned vehicles. Hence the livestock arrives without heat stress to exasperate the actual movement. Trailers We run a series of trailers with 50 mm hitches. Both for the car and the tractor. Both are a little worse for wear, so when we saw an advertisement for a 8' by 5' with 2' sides c/w tailgate and ladder rack, we were enticed into the den of Rob Davies and his father. They have set up at Pen y Bont, Cyfronydd. The farm buildings were up for rent and they moved into one while Banwy Fuels moved in next door. We ended up with a refurbished Peak Trailers Ltd chassis with the above configuration. It tows nicely and has been used for concrete slab and hay haulage. First time out we managed to rip a rear light off but that has now been fixed with a good dollop of weld and a recoat with paint. New light lens finished it off back to original condition. They haven't got a web site but as a local business who provide a good service, they deserve a mention. Rob Davies Vintage & Classic Spares Telephone 07790 875313
